Disclaimer
- Service Description Dierbaar met Sietske is an animal communicator and offers services in the field of animal communication. This is done through telepathic communication. Sietske translates what the animal sends ('says'). This can consist of consultations, healings, written messages, and tips (collectively: “services”).
- Not a substitute for professional care. The consultations and the written report are intended for support and clarification of emotional, relational, and behavioral aspects and may offer stability, comfort, and/or insight. The services do not constitute medical, veterinary, legal, or behavioral advice and do not replace the treatment, diagnosis, or evaluation of a pet by a veterinarian, behavioral specialist, therapist, or other qualified professional. Always consult a veterinarian first for any medical questions, medical injuries, or health complaints.
- Result Guarantee: No guarantees are given regarding outcomes or changes in the animal. The information conveyed by Sietske is communicated as objectively, clearly, and impartially as possible, as she strives to pass on the animal's impressions, images, feelings, and thoughts without her own interpretation. The owner understands that animal communication is an intuitive form of perception and that the ultimate meaning or application is always determined by the owner.
- Privacy and confidentiality Personal data and exchanged information are treated confidentially in accordance with applicable privacy legislation (GDPR). For additional details, please refer to the privacy statement on the website (click here).
- Payment & Procedure When the owner requests a consultation, Sietske asks for basic information necessary for the conversation with the animal, including: - Name of the animal - Gender - Age - Whether the animal is neutered/spayed - Names of people and animals in the same household - How long the animal has lived with the owner After the request is received, Sietske sends an invoice that must be paid within eight days. A consultation will only be scheduled after full payment has been received. Sietske will then speak with the animal as soon as possible, in order of arrival.
- Preparation Preparations are also made for every consultation, such as processing the information provided by the owner. These preparations are essential for a good consultation.
- Cancellation & Refund The owner may cancel until the moment the consultation has been conducted. If the consultation is cancelled before the preparations have started, the full amount will be refunded. After the preparations have started, 25% of the consultation fee will be charged to cover the preparation costs incurred. After the consultation has been conducted, a refund is not possible, as it concerns a personalized service that is delivered immediately. The statutory right of withdrawal is excluded as soon as the service has been provided with the client's consent. This occurs through payment.
- Conversations & Consent Sietske will only engage in conversation with an animal at the express request of the animal's owner. The owner grants consent for the conversation at the moment the consultation is paid for. After the completion of the consultation, there will be no further communication with the animal, unless the owner requests a new consultation and thereby grants consent again. Each consultation stands on its own.
- Limitations of Liability Dierbaar met Sietske is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or loss of profit arising from the use of the services provided. The total liability of Dierbaar met Sietske is in any event limited to the conduct for which the owner paid for the relevant consultation in the case in question, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
- Carefulness regarding sensitive topics During consultations concerning grief or death, Sietske works with extra care. The report can offer support, but Sietske refers to professional grief counseling or a veterinarian if necessary, in the case of a sick animal.
- Use of testimonials and anonymous examples By booking and paying for a consultation, the owner grants Dierbaar met Sietske permission to use parts of a message or a summary as anonymous testimonials on the website, social media, or other promotional materials. Important: - No personal data of the owner will be shared. - No identifying details of the animal will be shared (such as name, photo, or other personal data). - Only general information such as the type of animal (e.g., dog, cat, horse) and, in some cases, the age of the animal, may be used, along with a brief anonymous experience or impression of the consultation. - Should Sietske wish to share more, written permission will always be requested from the owner. - If the owner absolutely does not want anonymous information to be used as well, this must be indicated in writing to Dierbaar met Sietske; Sietske fully respects this.
- Minors and Representation Consultations for animals whose owner is a minor, or involving minors, must be requested and confirmed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Acceptance By booking (and thus paying for) a consultation, the owner declares to have read this disclaimer and to agree to it.
